The Henry Gideon Belhumeur Family, circa 1929. Henry is seated center, right, and his wife, Virginia is seated next to him. He is holding his grandson, Tom Collins. To Henry’s immediate right is his eldest, son Cyril. Next to Cyril is his sister, Rebecca, holding son George. To Rebecca’s right is her husband, Hank Collins. Behind Hank is a family friend, Kelly Kestner. Directly behind Rebecca, and to Mr. Kestner’s left is Genevieve Belhumeur, third eldest of the six Belhumeur daughters. To Genevieve’s left and behind is Margaret, wife of Cyril. Then comes Georgiana, youngest of the girls. Behind her is James Wendell, husband of Cecelia Belhumeur, seen peeking from the very back, holding her daughter Bernadette. In front of and between James Wendell and Cecelia is Joe Nagy, who would become the husband of Bernadette Belhumeur, who’s face is partially hidden behind her father. Then, continuing to Bernadette’s left is Louise Hittle, married to William Belhumeur, the gentleman standing behind her. Then Isodore Belhumeur, twin of Bernadette, and behind her is Art Rusch, Isodore’s husband. And finally Betty, and in front of her is Lawrence Belhumeur, her husband. The three children sitting in front are Bobby Belhumeur, son of William and Louise; Edith Wendell, eldest daughter of James and Cecelia Wendell; and Virginia Collins, daughter of Hank and Rebecca.
